Will Rouse has been appointed as Non-Executive Director of Vinta's New Zealand Funds Management Board.
Will brings a broad range of credentials to the role, including experience in acquisition and divestment, debt and equity capital markets and treasury, plus highly advanced skills in business growth, leadership and strategy.
Will also brings over a decade’s experience in debt capital markets and treasury, working in various roles for Citibank in Auckland, Sydney and London. This included three years as Vice President Derivatives (Citibank Sydney), and four years as Country Treasurer/Vice President (Citibank Auckland), where he managed sales, trading and liquidity.
Will is currently Executive Chairman and co-owner of Simcro Group & Co, co-leading acquisitions and overseeing the integration and value extraction within this business.
In 2000, Will purchased a New Zealand import and distribution company formerly known as Am-Tech, which became integrated into the broader Coventry Group, a leading distributor of industrial products.
Peter Vogliotti, Vinta CEO, said that the selection process for the position of Non-Executive Director was rigorous, aimed at complementing the broad range of skills of Vinta’s recently appointed Chair, Fiona Oliver, and Non-Executive Director, Luke Vodanovich. Will’s Trans-Tasman experience, combined with skills in business growth and leadership were what prompted Vinta to approach him for the role.
“I am really pleased to have been approached for the position. Vinta’s FM board presents an exceptional level of property heritage and expertise. Combined with the governance, legal and wealth management experience of its respective members this provides the ideal framework for long-term success. I am looking forward to working with the board and the management team in the short-term as we prepare to launch our first fund for the New Zealand wholesale market” Find out more
